CHOOSE YOUR PROGRAM
preschool core programs
All programs run August – May. Tuition listed is per month and varies by your child’s age and days per week.

Our small preschool adapts entirely to each class. Their interests, abilities, and needs shape everything from curriculum to daily routines – each year, we refine our environment, materials, and even parts of our lunch menu to serve that specific group of children.
We embrace full days of independent, imaginative play. Our handcrafted outdoor environment invites discovery, risk-taking, and confidence-building through natural exploration. Loose parts play and creative expression aren’t extras – they’re essential.
Our small community creates deep connections where children learn problem-solving, empathy, and compromise through close, long-term friendships. These relationships extend beyond Sprouts into your neighborhood.
“You’re not just attending – you’re part of something meaningful.”

You two are God’s gift to childcare. We love you both so much! Thank you for all you do for our boys, for loving on them, playing with them, and encouraging them. Thank you for being the best teachers ever!

how we think
at sprouts, we play.
Our pedagogy is simple: children learn best through play. Here’s what that looks like every day at Sprouts.
We provide the space to explore and investigate through uninterrupted time for play.
We structure the days to encourage imaginations through independence and without adult interference.
We create and adapt environments to make safe spaces for children to try new things, take risks, make mistakes, and solve problems.
We help children learn to make attempts at challenges, persevere through frustration, and then ask for help if they need it.
We teach children to respect living things through observation without disturbances and to discuss all nature in positive terms.
We help children discover that we are all artists and allow them to grow confidence in their own artistic journey.
how we think
play time at sprouts
At Sprouts, play is the most important activity. Children do their best exploring, discovering, thinking, planning, and relationship-building through extended, uninterrupted free play time.
risky play
Children develop essential skills by engaging in risky play – building confidence, grit, and resilience through small failures.
• climbing & jumping from many heights
• running, spinning, moving at speed
• rough-housing with others
messy play
Children develop tolerance and joy in new sensory experiences and engage their imaginations through messy, open-ended play.
• dirt, mud, rocks, & mulch
• water tables & sprinklers
• paint, glitter, glue & nature bits
outdoor play
Children develop a fondness for nature and learn to appreciate all types of weather – the excitement of a warm summer shower to the beauty of fresh snow.
• summer heat [up to 100˙]
• winter chill [down to 10˙]
• rain, snow, wind, & fog
our roots
influenced by the best
We’ve spent years studying the most respected approaches to early childhood education. Our work at Sprouts is shaped by three in particular.
