Sprouts Childcare classes are a small community of multi-age children. Our aim for Sprouts is to help children engage their imaginations through play, creative arts, and practical arts, and to discover and appreciate the world around them.
Sprouts Childcare classes are based on Waldorf education principles, though we are not a Waldorf School. Unlike larger daycare centers, we provide consistent educated teachers, a small multi-age group of children, and the freedom to tailor our environment and curriculum to suit each group. Unlike smaller daycare homes, we provide a consistent schedule, a group of twelve children, and a focused nature curriculum.
Sprouts Childcare classes are for children ages 24 months – 5 years. Classes meet between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for 180 days between August and May each year. See our childcare calendar here. Childcare classes provide diapers, wipes, AM snack, lunch and PM snack.
