Sprouts After-School Care

Sprouts After-School classes are a small community of multi-age children.  Our aim for our after-school care is to help children engage their imaginations through play, creative arts, and practical arts, and to discover and appreciate the world around them.

Sprouts After-School classes are based on Waldorf education principles, though we are not a Waldorf School.  Unlike other After-School programs, we provide consistent highly-educated teachers, a small multi-age group of children, and the freedom to tailor our environment and curriculum to suit each group.

Sprouts After-School classes are for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th.  Classes meet from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm for 168 days per year in correlation with the Champaign Unit 4 school district. Classes also meet all day from 7:30 – 4:30 on 12 teacher institute days each year.  See our after-school calendar here.  After-school classes provide PM snack.
